This was one of my favorite quotes growing up. I used to love annoying my siblings (and I have many), by just smiling at them. They never knew what I was up to… most of the time it was nothing.

These days, I’m afraid I don’t smile as much and I want to change that. With all that needs to get done, all that my kids THINK I should do for them NOW (both are preschoolers), and all that I THINK I need to do NOW (I’m a recovering perfectionist), I just get overwhelmed and I forget to enjoy the simple moments, the smiles, and the good of life. There’s much to smile about in my life: two great kids, The Boy (age 4) and The Girl (age 2); a great husband, Mr. Wonderful; loving extended family (mine and Mr. Wonderful’s); good friends; good health; and the list goes on…

I’m using this blog as a place to put some of my daily smiles on. I want to be able to have a place to go for guaranteed smile inducers… on those random bad moments/days.
